[Ueno] "Giant Panda Exhibition" to Celebrate Photo Book Publication & Reprint! East and West Pandas Gather as the Ueno Family and the Hama Family Arrive for 3 Days Only
Overview
A panda exhibition celebrating the publication and reprint of a photo book, "Giant Panda Exhibition: East and West Pandas Gather – The Ueno Family and the Hama Family Have Arrived…", will be held in Ueno for just three days.
The exhibition celebrates the release of a photo book featuring Ueno's panda family and the Hama family, popular pandas from western Japan. A reprint of the photo book has also been confirmed alongside this publication, and the exhibition brings together pandas beloved in both the east and the west. A key feature is the chance to enjoy images of the panda family born and raised in Ueno side by side with the Hama family pandas living far away. It offers an opportunity to look back, all in one place, at the expressions and gestures of both families' pandas as recorded in the photo book.
True to the "East and West Pandas Gather" in its title, the highlight is the gathering of photos of pandas that normally live far apart: the Ueno family in the east and the Hama family in the west. As the event celebrates the photo book's publication, it is expected to center on shots from the book and related displays. With the run limited to just three days, whether you can make it during the period will be the key question.
