[Ueno] Autumn Traffic Safety Event on September 29 at Takenodai Plaza
Overview
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Ueno Police Station is holding a traffic safety event at Takenodai Plaza (Fountain Plaza) as part of the Autumn National Traffic Safety Campaign. In autumn, the sun sets earlier and visibility drops from evening onward. It is also a busy season for outings, so pedestrians, cyclists and drivers all face a higher risk of accidents. Takenodai Plaza in Ueno Park sees heavy foot traffic from tourists and local residents, which makes it a good place to raise awareness.
