[Ueno] Esports Tournament "ALL Wasegaku Esports Tournament 2026" Coming to Ueno on September 4!

Overview

The "ALL Wasegaku Esports Tournament 2026," hosted by Wasegaku High School, will take place on Friday, September 4, 2026, with esports Style UENO in Ueno, Taito-ku, serving as the main stadium. Wasegaku High School, a correspondence high school, is organizing the event jointly with its group schools, Wasegaku Muiku High School and Wasegaku PURE High School.

On the day, campus teams that won their way through in-school qualifiers at the three schools will come together for the final tournament in a "fighting game." A "Long Jump Rope Championship (VTR)" will also be held between rounds of the final tournament. At the same time, each campus will take part in events such as a "racing game," a "quiz contest," and a "grip strength contest," and the overall winning campus will be determined by the total points earned across all events.

The event will feature an MC and play-by-play commentary, and a live stream on YouTube is planned.

The tournament aims to deepen interaction among students beyond the boundaries of schools and campuses through esports, fostering teamwork and communication skills. Regardless of their gaming skills, it seeks to be an event where every student can shine and have fun working together with their peers.
