[Ueno] Concert for Children on September 27!
Overview
A "Concert for Children" will be held in the Ueno area. It is open to ages 0 and up, so even infants can attend. Families with small children often have few outings to choose from. Because this event welcomes children from birth, it is easy for parents of very young kids to attend.
Each session holds about 100 people, and the audience changes between sessions. Entry is first come, first served, so the concert will likely run as several separate sessions. Because each session has its own capacity, the venue should not get too crowded, and families can enjoy the music in a fairly calm setting.
No registration is required. There are no bookings or forms, so you can simply decide to come on the day. This helps families with small children, whose plans can be hard to predict. Because entry is first come, first served, arrive early if you want a particular session.
Concerts like this are often seen as a chance for children to hear live music as part of everyday life. With the event taking place in Ueno, an area full of cultural institutions, it is likely to interest local families raising young children.
