[Ueno] hololive VTuber Juufuutei Raden × Tokyo National Museum Collaboration Event! At the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park
A collaboration event between hololive production VTuber Juufuutei Raden and the Tokyo National Museum in Ueno Park will be held from Wednesday, January 13, 2027 to Monday, March 22, 2027 (national holiday).
The collaboration came about because the Tokyo National Museum appreciates the activities of Juufuutei Raden, a devoted fan of Japanese art, including her introductions of the museum's special exhibitions and her major contribution to last fiscal year's crowdfunding campaign to restore the Tale of Genji folding screens. During the event, a variety of programs are planned, including a special audio guide by Juufuutei Raden for the Tohaku Collection Exhibition (Regular Exhibition), a puzzle-solving game, and a panel display of newly drawn illustrations.
Juufuutei Raden is a member of ReGLOSS, part of hololive production. She loves culture and the performing arts, old and new, Japanese and Western, and is known as a VTuber who visits art museums as part of her daily routine.
Pre-orders for original merchandise commemorating the event have also started on ClaN MARKET as of 15:00 on Monday, September 28, 2026. The merchandise features seven illustrations drawn especially for this event: full-body illustrations titled "Tokyo National Museum Researcher," "Outing," and "Museum Princess," plus mini-character illustrations with outfits inspired by works in the museum's collection, including the Important Cultural Property Dogu (Clay Figurine) with Goggle-like Eyes, the Important Cultural Property Domaru Armor with Kashidori-ito Lacing and Red Shoulders, and Autumn Moon at Ishiyama, from the series Eight Views of Omi (by Utagawa Hiroshige).
This is a collaboration that pairs a VTuber with a national museum. If you're visiting Ueno Park, why not stop by?
