Ueno Zoo will hold a talk event by its zookeepers in front of the Panda House on August 22, 2026. The talk will introduce the pandas' behavior and ecology and take a behind-the-scenes look at their care.
The keepers who look after the pandas plan to explain what the animals usually eat, how they spend their day, and how their health is managed, with quizzes along the way to keep it easy to follow. A Q&A session for visitors is also expected. It is a rare chance to hear firsthand information that only the zoo can offer.
Because the event falls during the summer holidays, many families are expected to visit, and the area around the Panda House will likely be crowded during the event. If you want a good viewing spot, arrive well before the start time.
