Ueno Zoo Releases "Animal Video Gallery Vol.274": Gorilla Sumomo's Chest-Beating and Growing Chinese Bamboo Partridge Chicks
Overview
Ueno Zoo has released "Animal Video Gallery Vol.274." This edition covers three topics: chest-beating by the western lowland gorilla Sumomo, the growth of Chinese bamboo partridge chicks, and scenes from "Autumn Night Zoo."
"Animal Video Gallery" is a series of videos showing the animals that live at Ueno Zoo. Now at "Vol.274," the series has clearly been running for a long time. Its appeal is that you can enjoy, wherever you are, fleeting moments that are easy to miss when watching the animals at the zoo, as well as their gradual day-by-day growth.
Highlights of This Edition
Chest-Beating by Western Lowland Gorilla Sumomo
The first topic is chest-beating by the western lowland gorilla Sumomo. Chest-beating is a well-known gorilla behavior. Chances to see this powerful display in person are limited, so being able to watch it on video is a real treat. Why not take a close look at what Sumomo shows in the footage?
The Growth of Chinese Bamboo Partridge Chicks
The second topic is the growth of Chinese bamboo partridge chicks. Chicks change in appearance from day to day, and footage recording these changes is something only a zoo that watches over its animals continuously can offer. Watching little chicks grow up is a topic animal lovers won't want to miss.
Scenes from "Autumn Night Zoo"
The third topic shows scenes from "Autumn Night Zoo." The video conveys the atmosphere of the zoo at night, which differs from the daytime, offering a glimpse of a side you wouldn't normally see on a regular visit. With its seasonal theme, it also gives a sense of what Ueno Zoo is like in autumn.
A Chance to Get to Know the Animals of Ueno
Ueno Zoo is one of the signature attractions of the Ueno area. "Animal Video Gallery Vol.274" is made up of three topics, each with its own appeal: a gorilla's powerful behavior, the growth of bird chicks, and a seasonal event. Together they let you enjoy the animals from a variety of angles.
Checking out the animals on video before your visit should make your time at the zoo even more enjoyable. It's also a chance for those who can't easily visit to see how the animals are doing now. Be sure to check out this edition of the video gallery as a way to get to know the animals of Ueno Zoo.
