Good Glas Pop-Up Shop Comes to Ueno Marui, Featuring a "Giant Hello Kitty"
A pop-up shop for Good Glas, the brand known for its "upside-down" glasses, will be held for a limited time from Monday, December 22, 2025 to Thursday, January 8, 2026 in the 1st-floor event space at Ueno Marui. Along with a restock of the previously sold-out Hello Kitty glasses and straws, the shop will feature the much-talked-about "giant Hello Kitty," officially the Premium Extra-Large Hello Kitty Ornament, which has about 10 times the volume of the regular size.
The shop will also carry the Miffy 70th Anniversary Glass Reusable Straw, limited to 500 pieces, along with original glassware featuring animal motifs. The Miffy straw and its included silicone case are decorated with the 70th anniversary logo and a flower motif, and the silicone case comes in orange, Miffy's signature color. Because production is limited, items may sell out before the event ends.
Good Glas makes double-layered glassware featuring animal and character motifs. When a drink is poured in, the motif inside the glass appears clearly. Every product is handmade by glass artisans.
