[Ueno] "Nagomi" Round-Trip Tour from Ueno to Sendai Now on Sale! Departing Ueno Station for Sendai
Overview
JR East View Tourism and Sales has begun selling a round-trip tour from Ueno to Sendai aboard the sleeper limited express "Nagomi." The Nagomi is known for offering only limited opportunities to ride. Because it is hard to experience with a regular ticket, it is one of the trains that draws strong interest from railway fans and travel enthusiasts alike.
The newly released tour starts and ends at Ueno Station, traveling to Sendai and back. Ueno Station is one of Tokyo's major terminals and a key transport hub served by multiple lines, including JR lines, the Shinkansen and the subway, so it is easy to reach from central Tokyo and the surrounding area.
Beyond the Nagomi itself being a special train, the round-trip format lets passengers enjoy a relaxed time on board in both directions, which is one of the tour's main attractions. As a rare chance to experience a train with few opportunities to ride, the tour is likely to draw attention now that sales have begun.
Information currently available on the tour period, prices, detailed departure and arrival points, access and the official website is limited, so further announcements are needed for details. If you are considering joining the tour, we recommend checking for updates and official announcements before applying.
