Overview

"Horumon Sakaba Ueno" opens on September 1, 2026 in Ueno 6-chome, within walking distance (146m) of Keisei Ueno Station. It's on the 1st floor of the Ono Building. Being so close to the station makes it an easy stop after work or a day of sightseeing.

The new shop is an izakaya focused on skewers and seafood. As the name suggests, horumon (offal) is the focus. Along with charcoal-grilled skewers, it's expected to offer seafood dishes, so you can enjoy both meat and fish. Ueno is packed with places to eat and drink, from old-school taishu sakaba (casual pubs) to newly opened spots. This newcomer near the station gives the area one more option.
